‘Revolution’ in hospital care needed to deal with dementia according to Alzheimer’s Society

Hospital care should come to the patient and wards should be restructured to ensure patients are not moved unless absolutely necessary.

This is according to a report of the Royal College of Physician’s Future Hospitals Commission published today (Thursday 12 September 2013).
