NVQ in Health & Social Care level 3
The work
This award is designed for staffs who deliver physical, emotional or enabling care to clients who have a medium to high degree of dependency, whether they work in health or social care, or in the public, private or voluntary sectors. It is designed to be applicable wherever such care is delivered.
The award has links to the NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care award, but reflects a higher level of responsibility and specialisation. As such, it is a potential progression route from Level 2.
Course delivery and assessment
The learning materials are specifically designed for candidates to work through on their own with the help of a tutor/assessor who will assist you in your studies. Learners work through the support materials and complete activities and assessments for each unit. A tutor/assessor will also observe the learner carrying out practical tasks during their normal working hours in order to meet the requirements of each unit.
Progression Opportunities
On completion of this program you may be able to progress on to NVQ Health and Social Care Level 4, if your work role is suitable.
